System Design

Our paradigm is to offer to our costumers a ‘Concept to Product service’ including all the steps required from ‘High level System Design’ to a Manufacturing & Testing specifications. Our approach to ‘High level System Design’ is to create a technical solution that satisfies the functional requirements for the system.
At the early point in the project life-cycle there should be a Functional Specification, written primarily in business terminology, containing a complete description of the operational needs of the various entities that will use the new system that has been designed. This Funcional Specification is usually provided by the costumer or, sometimes, it can be written jointly with us, therefore we can help our costumers to focus and clarify their needs. The challenge is to translate all of this information into Technical Specifications that accurately describe the design of the system, and that can be used as input to System Construction.

The Functional Specification produced during System Requirements Analysis is then transformed into a physical architecture. System components are distributed across the physical architecture, data flow and protocols are defined, usable interfaces are designed and specified and Technical Specifications are created for the Application Developers, enabling them to build and test the system.

One of the key point of our added value is the ability to offer solutions that use leading tecnologies in order to improve the competitiveness of our costumer products. Our spread knowledge of the available technologies and the deep experience let us to find out the best technology implementation and cost effective solution.

Many organizations look at System Design primarily as the preparation of the system component specifications; however, constructing the various system components is only one of a set of major steps in successfully building a system. The preparation of the environment needed to build the system, the testing of the system and the data flowmanagement are equally important and then considered by us.
We then support the system design outcome with extensive modelling, intended as the process by which the electrical properties of an electronic circuit or system are represented by means of mathematical equations, circuit representations, graphs or tables, and simulation to predict and / or verify the performance of the system. We normally performs modeling using Spice, C, C++, Matlab and Simulink.
